David De Gea’s error gives Chelsea’s Kepa a chance in the Spanish national team




his is likely a good news for Chelsea because their expensive goalkeeper, Kepa Arrizabalaga is about to get a chance to start for his home country, Spain.
Prior to this latest development, Man Utd goalie, David de Gea was the La Roja No 1 goalkeeper but Spain coach, Luis Enrique in a statement has made it known that he can no longer guarantee David de Gea the number one shirt in the team.
The main reason behind this new change is owing to the Man Utd goalie’s performance for his home country.
His chance of losing the No 1 goalie spot in the Spanish came during the game against Croatia with Spain losing with 3 goals to 2, part of which was linked with De Gea’s poor performances.
Luis Enrique has made it known that Kepa Arrizabalaga will start as the Spanish national goalie during the game against Bosnia at Las Palmas on Sunday and also against Herzegovina.
According to Enrique the new change in the goal post will help put competition in the national squad.
We will watch to see if Kepa Arrizabalaga will prove why he is the Blues number one goalie in the Spanish national team.
