The winger recently completed a major move to the Premier League, but he's focused on success in Germany first Christian Pulisic is thrilled to be joining Chelsea, but the winger insists he's focused on Borussia Dortmund's pursuit of trophies most of all. The American winger will join Chelsea this summer after completing a €64 million (£57.6m, $73.1m) deal to join the Premier League club. Pulisic says he is undaunted by the fee and, although he is excited about the eventual move, he's only worried about his current club for the time being. "For [Chelsea] to do this and to want me this much I think yeah they must like me, at least a little bit," Pulisic told ESPNFC. “I've said I'm very excited," he added. "I'm really happy with the decision, but there is a time where I have to put it in the back of my head now, once the season gets going. Maurizio Sarri receives order to replace Marcos Alonso with this star

Chelsea named a soft side against Hungarian outfit Vidi in their Europa League clash on Thursday. The Blues settled for a draw when Olivier Giroud leathered a powerful strike from a set piece into the back of the net, as Chelsea topped their group to cross into the competition’s knockout stages. Chelsea have had to rely on their back four this season. Maurizio Sarri’s choice of playing David Luiz and Antonio Rudiger in the centre has paid off really well. Chelsea’s skipper Caesar Azpilicueta has remained resolute in his berth and so also Marcos Alonso. While the former has not been pounded heavily with harsh criticisms from fans, the latter has been fed faint doses of it. Alonso may be great at the left back berth, there is no hank about that however, it hasn’t rubbed out the fact that he’s still feeble at the backline. The Spain international has garnered a lot of admiration from Chelsea fans, but fans want Sarri to give Emerson Palmieri a chance, following his brilliant ...

Chelsea preparing £250,000-a-week contract for Spanish attacker

Chelsea will submit a £70 million bid to sign Real Madrid midfielder Isco who has fallen down the pecking order at Los Blancos since Santiago Solari replaced Julen Lopetegui as manager in October. The 26-year-old has started only one match under new boss and has made another five appearances as a substitute. The Spaniard was also booed by Madrid fans at Santiago Bernabeu last week as the Champions League holders were defeated 3-0 by CSKA Moscow. The Sun claims Chelsea are ready to offer a £70m transfer fee to Madrid and give the attacker a four-and-a-half-year deal worth £250,000 a week. The report also adds that the Blues are also looking to sweeten the deal even further by offering Isco a ‘hefty’ signing-on fee. Chelsea are looking to complete the switch in January, while the move is also endorsed by Maurizio Sarri, who wants to play the Spain international alongside Eden Hazard. The Sun claims that Arsenal are also interested but are not making an offer. Earlier this week...

Chelsea edges closer to complete shock transfer of 23-year-old Man United star

According to the reports, Chelsea and Arsenal have been given a boost in their pursuit of Anthony Martial after his agent admitted he is ‘very pessimistic’ over Man United’s chances of finalising a new long-term deal for the French forward. The Red Devils have triggered Anthony Martial’s one-year option to keep him at the club until the summer of 2020. The current deal of the 23-year-old had been due to expire at the end of the season but Man United now have a further 12 months in which to sell or agree a new contract with the player. Martial’s agent, Philippe Lamboley, claimed in the summer that the former AS Monaco ace wanted to leave Old Trafford following months of failed contract negotiations. Both Arsenal and Chelsea have been monitoring Martial’s situation, but Man United’s hierarchy refused to sell in the summer despite the club already sacked Jose Mourinho after Liverpool defeat at Anfield 3-1. RMC Sport now claims that United decided to trigger M...

'He's been angrier when we've won' - Chelsea players escaped a Sarri backlash after Spurs defeat, says Luiz

The Blues were comprehensively beaten by Tottenham on Saturday, but the Brazilian revealed the manager's reaction was not one of sheer anger Maurizio Sarri has displayed more anger after Chelsea have won games than he did in the wake of Saturday's 3-1 defeat against Tottenham, according to David Luiz. Chelsea produced their poorest performance of the season at Wembley, finding themselves trailing 2-0 after just 16 minutes thanks to goals from Dele Alli and Harry Kane. Sarri labelled Chelsea's performance a "disaster", acknowledging he saw little way back after Kane's goal despite having 74 minutes left of the game. However, David Luiz has revealed Sarri's unexpected post-match reaction, with the Italian apparently calmer than after some of Chelsea's wins this term. "He has been, many times, angrier when we've won," the defender told reporters. "It's true. Nobody is happy, of course, the coach is not happy. ...

Fabregas priority as AC Milan prepare sensational triple Chelsea raid

AC Milan are preparing a sensational raid on Chelsea. The Serie A giants are desperate for reinforcements in January, and have turned their attention towards three disgruntled players at Stamford Bridge. According to  Football Italia , Milan director Leonardo has made contact Chelsea chief Marina Granovskaia over the availability of Cesc Fabregas, Andreas  Christensen and Gary Cahill. Leonardo's prime target is Spanish midfielder Fabregas, who can agree a pre-contract agreement with Milan in January and sign for free in the summer. However, Chelsea could also look to cash in on the 31-year-old by selling him at a cut-price in January. That is the same for Cahill, who is also out of contract at the end of the season. Christensen has become frustrated with his playing time under Maurizio Sarri, with Milan open to making a loan move for the Dane.
